Liquid UVB, "no more need for UVB lights"?

Hi there, I was at the pet shop today and saw that they were selling UVB drops for reptiles.
It says that they were testing in europe for years blah blah blah..
It says that theres "no more need to purchase expensive UVB lights"
Does anyone know if these actually work and has anyone or would anyone use this kind of product?? :S

Hello,

They are not recommended for replacing UVB exposure. It is extremely difficult to dose these types of supplements & is very easy to overdose them.
The bottom line is that there IS NO substitute for UVB exposure. There are no shortcuts that can be made to maintain their health.

Oh no, I just found it weird that they would be selling stuff like that?
How do you know if your beardie got any and how on earth do they expect a liquid to replace a suns UVB?... strange.
