Liquid Calcium in the Water?

Hi, Primo has been going through a bit of an eating strike, he usually eats willingly every 2-3 days, his tank is perfect, no need to worry about that . I can easily make him drink water (Put him on the water dish). So i was wondering if I should just put some liquid calcium in the water so he is for sure getting all his calcium (The Spray is Zilla Food Spray Calcium Supplement)???????

HI Kevin... have you tried the liquid calcium? The calcium comes in fruit flavors and can be administered with a syringe(needleless). Most beardies take to it well.

I have the Zilla calcium spray and I put it in Nero's water... he doesn't absorb water well through his vent in a bath AND started refusing calcium dusted feeders a few months ago. So I give him the water and calcium through a dropper. I just spray it a few times in the water and then use it, 3 times a week. I know this isn't optimal because it's not dosed for his weight - we don't have a scale. I watch him like a hawk for tremors, and one time he did have a few, but I gave him one drop of the Zilla spray (straight) and that stopped the tremors right away. Otherwise he's had no problems with it and in fact he drinks through the dropper really well.

The tremors were really scary, so liquid calcium and a scale are still on my Christmas list, unless I ask Nero's vet to dose the Zilla spray for me and I plan to try.

Well primo is going to the vet on tuesday, i will get the vet to weigh him , knowing a vet, he will charge me 100$ for it but... lol jk. And I will ask him to dose it for me or else I will give the weight to you tracie, thanks a lot.
