Hello everyone,
I just noticed this today giving Moose his bath. Not sure what it is, it almost looks like he bit his lip and developed a sore as a human would. I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not. Does it look like he's ill or could he have given himself a minor injury somehow? His face shed today as well but I don't think it's a piece of shed..
Husbandry, arcadia 12% t5, 105 basking, cool end 85, tile substrate yada yada yada. He hasn't had live food in 3 days, chowing down on salad still (collard, mustard and turnip greens). I haven't noticed any change in behavior, he seems fine but we all know they hide things. Any help is appreciated, is a vet visit in order?
It's in front of the syringe, toward to the tip of his mouth
Here you can see how it's kind of in the way of his lips holding shut
Thanks in advance,
Steven
