I'm starting to think he might be going into brumation but I can't help but wonder if it might be something else and I really want to use the vet as a last resort I just moved so I don't have any extra cash at the moment.

He doesn't eat his greens or his bugs for the last week or two now and before that he would only eat one bite of greens and 3-4 butter/super/wax worms. I give him greens everyday and worms every 2-3 days always dusted with either calcium or vitamin powder.

I soak him in a warm bath once a week for 15-20 minutes. He also hasn't pooped in over a month but he isn't lethargic and he moves around his tank everyday. He doesn't hide in the cool area and he basks everyday. I don't think he is impacted since he doesn't show any signs of it and when I feel his belly it feels empty. I haven't weighed him in a while so I don't know if he has lost any weight but he looks healthy and doesn't look like he has lost weight. He might be needing to loose some he looks a little fat to me.

He is still shedding his skin like normal he does have some stress marks.

He is about 18 months old 19" long and 579 grams.

Here is a picture I just took of him. Going to give him a soaking today to try and get him to poop again. Will update if he poops.

if he hasn't eaten, he probably doesn't need to poop. He could be waiting until shed is complete to go full burmate.
every beardie is different, mine is currently coming out every day and sleeping under his light, instead of staying in his cave, where he stayed for 2 months last winter..but as long as he seems like he is in good spirits, I would just go with it.

thanks i will keep offering him food and weighing him once a week to make sure he isn't loosing weight

how will i know when to stop offering him food and when to start again?

should i keep his lights on even when he goes into full burmation? or can i just keep the night bulb on since it is winter here it would get too cold for him if i didn't

I keep the lights on the whole time, and offer food 2x a week when my guy is in burmation, you never know when they will want a snack.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
