my 5 month old son, Broox, had his first experience with a beardie yesterday. my hubby, chuckie, and i were playing phase 10 when our little guy, Link, started pacing in the front of his viv. i kept laughing and telling chuckie to get him out he wanted to play too. so he finally got tired of watching Link stand on his back legs and claw at the glass, then run down the front of the tank trying to dig, and he took him out. Broox was laying on the bed beside me being his normally good self, unlike today when i'm fighting the urge to sell him on the street corner lol. Link was laying on his daddy and then decided it was a good idea to run. well, i don't trust the boys to be down by themselves. not here. my mother in law would freak and there is too many places where they could get stuck and/or hurt. so for their own protection, they are held..unless they are behaving lol. anyway, he took off onto the bed, so i picked him up...can't say it was the best idea i had. he took a flying leap at our infant son and missed his face by centimeters!! needless to say, Broox is a great baby, even if he does have acid reflux and pukes all over the place. He just smiled as the flying beardie came at him, until he realized he was going to be hit in the face and then all he did was flinch. no crying...he actually giggled!! so Link went back into the tank and Broox went for a nap. I laughed when it was over and i realized that my new son has no fear whatsoever. what is it with beardies and babies?? i'm just wondering if Link was just trying to say "hi" in his own way lol.
