Hello all,
I have a question about bathing. I know it is not required on a daily basis, and that different dragons enjoy the water to varying degrees. Is there any reason NOT to bathe daily if the dragon enjoys it? I'm talking like a quick 5 minute morning swim under supervision as opposed to a 30 minute soak.
I'm asking because Sir Henry has been running around his enclosure all morning like a mad man, which I was chalking up to the "spring fever" I have been reading about. Giving him free roam exploring time, followed by snuggles, did not seem to help much. So we put him in the tub for a swim for about 5 minutes then put him back in his enclosure after drying him off. The crazy maniac activity has stopped and he is happily basking. We have no problem with it being a part of the daily morning routine if it will not harm him to be in the water that frequently.
All temps via temp gun, uvb levels, lighting distance, etc. are as suggested during previous questions I have asked. He is eating and pooping normally, and getting his usual time out of cage for snuggling and exploring.
