I have a question for all of you beardie experts. Do UVB lights loose their microwatts? How often should you change these over priced bulbs? I purchased a Zilla SlimLine Dessert Fixture 50UVB T8 Flurescent fixture about 3-4 months ago and little Roscoe went through a huge growth spurt. Recently he has not been to active and doent seem to have grown much? Is it time to change the bulb? Any other ideas and suggestions are more than welcome, thank you!

The Zilla bulbs put out a large amt of UVB in the beginning but decline very rapidly. That's why we don't recommend using those bulbs. The best UVB you can get in the U.S. is the Repti-Sun 10.0 strip fluorescent, not the compact or coil version.
