Lighting/ Temps! A little helping hand needed

OK im driving myself a little mental trying to sort temps out!" :x
George has 106 under his basking bulb but the cole end is 79-80, my thermostat is on the highest it can be (says 93 but i guess the thermometer doesnt lie!) and i dont know how to get the cold end warmer without effecting the warm end?
Any Ideas??
George is shedding his arms and legs (if you say beardies have arms?!!) and hes miserable and i dont want his temp to be making him even more unhappy!
any advice would be fandoodytastic!

Hey lou, how are you measuring the temps? A thermometer with prob ends is best.

yep i have a thermometer with a wire with a little bullet on the end- not sure if thats what you call a probe thermometer?! sorry for being a bit thick!!
