I wake up at 7 on weekdays to go to school and around 9 on weekends. Since I am getting a baby that should be getting fed in the morning and the afternoon each day, is it fine if his lights come on at 7 on weekdays and 9 on weekends? Also, if the lighting is different on weekends should the lights go off then when I go to bed (10ish)?
Thanks

Hi there, if you can set it by using a timer it would be ideal to have it the same all the time but if not, that would still be O.K.

I think investing in a mechanical timer for the lights is well worth it. Something like this will do https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LBHB2BC/ Just set them to come on 30-60 min before you get up and then go off about 14hrs or so later (this can vary based on your schedule). I find that bringing the lights on early gives them time to wake up and warm up before breakfast.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
