I am trying to figure out the type of lighting setup I will use for a 4 tank condo unit each unit will be roughly 48"X18"X24". So here is my ideas, any input wold help.

1. I could use a uva basking bulb on one side with a 36" Reptisun 10.0.

2. I could use a MVB on one side and use rope light from each cage that lights up the whole condo. I have done this with my redtail boas for years with red rope light and it works great. I feel kinda stupid asking if the LED's will affect eyes or health. This seems like more cost efficient way, Im not trying to cut corners but I think this will light up much more.

Thanks any input helps

I would have to agree. Rope lights are great for ambient lighting, not what a dragon needs for their daily uvb or bright light.
Nothing says you can't use the ropes for high lighting, just as long as they go off the same time as your uvb and bright basking lights.
Janie.

Though you might want to watch where you place those ropes, dragons are known for climbing into the most awkward places ;)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
