lighting and basking help needed

OK, so I know the bd's need a place to bask and I've heard you could use regular house bulbs or the special reptile basking lamps. What I don't get is if I use a fluorescent bulb (and using the basking lamp), does it need to have uva and uvb? And I've also heard not to use under tank heaters, instead go with the ceramic "bulb" heat emitters. Also what should the day and night hot and cold temps be? any help with lighting in general is appreciated. thank you.

You can use regular bulbs for extra lighting.
Does your fluro tube produce UV? or is just a tube from your local hardware shop?

I dont really wana say much about temps, im from Australia, and to be honest i think what temps people say on here are wrong.

The Ceramic heat emitter (CHE for short) produces no light at all, these are best for night time if your viv drops below 24(Celcius), and they are perfect for it because they dont produce any light therfor not disturbing your Beardie
