light quality question

so the only petsmart in my area started carrying only the following types of uvb tube lights

has anyone run any tests on these things?

how would they compare to reptisun?

Ive never seen that these have been tested, but as they are Petsmarts house brand Im going to guess they probably arent a great quality. I think you would be best ordering online with someone like Dr Foster and Smith or even just Amazon. There is a great website called LightYourReptiles.com that has Arcadia too. The high output T5s from ZooMed are on sale on the Dr Fosters website for a great price. They are actually cheaper than the bulbs you linked to.

according to the link, they only put out 50 uW of UVB (and doesn't say at what distance that is), which is not enough for beardies. a reptisun 10.0 bulb will put out twice as much UVB, which is in the range that is healthiest for a fluorescent tube bulb for a BD enclosure.

Don't chance it, a reptisun is the same price online like the others stated. One of my local reptile shops sells them at prices that compete with online so I'm lucky.
