Hey guys.got my first beardie.I bought the zoomed starter kit with yhe combo bask lights and small uvb in the small hood but ill upgrade everything in a few mths.in the meanwhile...I have my day/night basking light on the warm side of course and wondering if I should put the uvb on complete oposite end, in the middle, or near tje basking lamps..Thanks guys/gals

UVB should be directly over where the dragon basks.. preferably in the tank so as not to lose any..

you could prob. read up, but I've read from some posters that the coil can be harmful to the beardie's eyes.. look in the archives for posts on that..

Thats how it is with my Sulcata tortoise.I have a hood from a fish tank ill put a long bulb in that will run the length of tank..is that too much uvb?

Im getting a 20 " zoo med hood with 18" light.That will go accross back of tank up to my zoo med dual combo..Is that too much UVB and should I get 5.0 or 10.0 ?? Thanks guys..

No need for night light, if its red or another color then it can do damage
