Light/Dark markings

Hi all, TurtleG1rl and I have had our beardie Bra'tac for about two weeks and this morning I noticed he was lighter in colour.
Since we brought him home he always had darker markings on his belly and chest.
I thought this was normal, however this morning those markings are barely visible.

Is this normal???

We've read stuff about stress marks and dragons turning lighter/darker.

He doesn't seem stressed and is eating and pooping on a daily basis, I even managed to hold him last night without him trying to escape up my arm, so he seems fairly happy.

We did have two beardies at first, but after some advice from this site we took Teal'c back.

Any advice/info would be appreciated.

My baby is really dark in the morning and sometimes for a while. I don't worry about it much, he is very healthy. I have read they are darker in the morning to get more heat in them. Sorry I don't know much, still learning.

I thought I read something about different morning and night colourings in regards to darker I just couldn't remember which way it went round.

Were obviously still very new to this but any difference we wonder if its right or if weve done something wrong.

The dark markings on the stomach, and the darker coloration are stress marks.. well the tummy things are stress marks, so if he is lighter, than that is great!!! Mine has the stress marks, and is dark also, but I noticed he does that when he is trying to absorb heat... so it is totally normal that he is lighter without the marks, that's the way he should be

I'm glad it means this is good as since his brother has left this is the first morning that he's not had them, his stomach is almost all one colour and the rest of his colourings are just so much lighter and brighter. I do also have to wonder how much has to do with the change from repti glo to reptisun two days ago.

Now we just have to get him eating more, he doesn't seem to eat nearly as much as everyone says their beardies do however saying that he is active and in there eating crickets and greens when he seems interested. I'm hoping the new uvb will change this for the better quickly
