Sheri, With m seizures(had one this morning) and already bad memory I had forgotten about the plushies! Very generous and thoughtful of yoy. Talking to family members trying to get a ride lined up to get me to a vet; Maybe my sister or mom, whoever has time.

Lasst time I went to a Dr Greek in So. Cal; He seemed to be knowledgable about all sorts of "exptic" animals, other than dogsd and cats. Perhaps with the 70 plus some from my paycheck I can afford to go back to him again and have him check LG out thouroughly...

About my seizure this morning:


bad sleep the night before, didn't sleep for more than an hour at a time on and off. Woke up at 7am to reset my alarm clock to 9am. Went back to bed. Hour or two later mom comes to ask me if I'm awake, I tell her I was seeing flashing light and hearing sounds. Right after that the aura got stronger and the sounds multiplied in number and loudness. Was very scary feeling, felt like I could her people screaming all around me with other loud noises mixed in. That's the last thing I remember.

After I came to, mom was standing over me telling me I had a seizure. I didn't believe her(I usually don't believe I've had one right after) and was irritable. My mom said I had blood on one side of my face(from my mouth), and was snoring loudly when she came in. She cleaned the blood off my face before I knew what was happening.

I tried using the toilet in the wrong bathroom(hasn't worked for 2 years), when my mom told me to use the other bathroom I told her she was crazy. Chomped my toung on the same side I always seem to(left), pain was almost unbearable when I first got up, but after a pain pill I can talk and drink water without too much pain. Calf muscles are also very sore, like I gave myself a charlie horse in both legs.



So yeah, seizures... Not fun.

Jason, I wish I had a magic wand to wave that would make everything better, your seizures stop, and the money roll in for you. Please know you have a lot of people who think of you often! Little LG is such a beautiful little girl, she pulls at my heartstrings every time I see a new picture of her, with her bright beautiful eyes. Its like she is saying "here I am! Ain't I so cute?!?"

I am very glad you have each other, I still truly think you two are good for each other. I hope your seizures lessen or stop one day, that must be so scary for you.

Has anyone heard from LG lately? I was just wondering if LG is still alive and how she is doing? Nothing has been posted in a while. My little girl, 9, is a double amputee herself and suffered greatly before we got her, and she asks about LG all the time. She can relate to this little beardie.
If someone has any info or can link us to current info, please let me know. I know LG had a seizure at some point and was not doing well, but wondered if there is an update.

Just wanted to thank you again so much.

When I saw that big puffy package in the mail today I got all excited because I wasn't expecting it so soon!

LG seemed to be a bit confused by it, but then again alot of things seem to befuddle her these days... I'm sure she'll get used to it fast though, and to help her along I propped her ontop of her new tank buddy;

After a while I fed her some fresh greens, she really chowed down!

Will give everyone more updates as things happen. Trying to kick this depression, one day at a time of course. :roll:

I just read this post. Very awesome, good to hear you adopted a dragon who needed a home. Many people would have just gone for the perfect one. :wink:

Thanks for the pictures, Jason! LG sure is a cutie, and eats her veggies like a good girl. Fighting depression is a one-day-at-a-time thing, sometimes one-hour-at-a-time. For me, the key was in learning to be thankful for what I had. No matter how lousy life gets, there is always something to be thankful for, regardless of how small it may be. I looked for as many things as I could to be thankful for, and many were very simple~and free. It is not an easy journey, but I believe that you share with LG an amazing spirit and will to survive. There is an end to the tunnel.

Thank you for the new pictures of LG. Sure makes me smile. She is just the most awesome beardie! My little girl, who is also an amputee will be so happy to see those. I don't know who made that crochet dragon, but wow! That is so cool.
