Finally got around to uploading all the pics I took since I got my little guy.

These pics are from the day I got him.





I remember this day well. It was Levi's first time having phoenix worms!





Here he is having some time outside his enclosure. He enjoys sitting on the back of my computer chair.





I took this one a few weeks back cause I thought he was looking rather majestic lol.



And these were taken this morning. He had just shed so I wanted to have a good pic of his pattern and colors. He also puffed out his beard so I had to get a pic of that as well.

It looks like he has a pretty good life so far! It will be fun to compare current photos to these early ones down the road as he grows up. You'll wonder where the time went.

Started Levi on some superworms today! He went absolutely nuts for em. Gonna try and take it easy with em to make sure everything is getting digested.

Also gave him his favorite treat afterwards, some nice fresh papaya! I'm glad he likes it cause someone needs to eat it before it goes bad and it won't be me lol.

He's adorable!! He looks a lot like my Pushkin did when he was that age!

I do see a lot of similarities between the two! I don't think Levi will be quite as orange as Pushkin, but who knows?

On another note I think it's time for a visit to the vet. I feel that he doesn't weigh as much as he should at his size and his poops have been very odd recently. I've been giving him small super worms recently in the hopes he may gain some weight with those, but the worms grew much faster than expected so it's back to phoenix worms. I'm hoping the poop is just something to do with a change in diet and not another case of Giardia. Other than that he looks super healthy. He's started running all over his tank until I take him out so I think its time to get a harness for him.

Just got back from the vet and Levi has coccidia and giardia AGAIN. Moved him into my 20g reserve tank while I bleach everything twice and bake whatever can be baked. Other than the parasites they said he was in perfect health. I'm going to be so attentive to this little turd over the next two weeks. I'm not gonna let him get sick again.

Poor guy. I'm sorry to hear that he's sick again. You may want to pick up a small steam cleaner so you can properly steam everything to disinfect it. I have a little 1000w steam cleaner and it works well for sanitizing the tank and furniture. Baking works well for the wood pieces though.

Poor little Levi must be feeling horrible right now. I'm making him take medicine and his legs and tail are shedding. Atleast giving him meds is easier now that he weighs more than 12 grams.

Finally got some good pics of Levi's colors. He seems to be doing a lot better after his meds. Will hopefully get a harness at the end of the week so I can start bringing him outside!

So I wanted to have a happy post about Levi turning 9 months old, but someone decided to drop off a beardie at work today which ended up souring my good mood. They had called beforehand to say they wanted to find him a new home so I got excited to see him when he arrived. When he got to work I was appalled. He's very skinny, has tail rot, mouth rot, and who knows how many parasites. I will be trying to get him to the vet tomorrow to see what the damage is. The good news is his appetite is good and he did poop when I got him home. I will try to find a loving home for him once I get most if not all of his issues fixed. I'll post a pic when I get the chance.

Here's Levi lookin amazing as usual. He's been pretty hyperactive lately so I plan on taking him out for a stroll when I get some free time.

And here's the new guy that I will be nursing back to health. I felt that he should have a new name to go with his new start so I renamed him Eran.
