Well My beardie has been fairly lethargic the past 3 days having only a couple hours where he is particularly active. I took him to a herp vet this morning and he said that there was no sign of impaction or MBD, gave him a med for "deworming pinworms" in case that was the problem and he seemed to be slightly more active after that.

His temperatures are good sitting at 95 during the day and 80-85 at night. He gets crickets dusted daily and baths every day, has textured tile for bedding, and has a UVB 1.0 reptisun bulb just over his enclosure.

he just has been sleeping a great deal and tends to only open one eye during most of his wake time.

any advice would be great.

Could he be dehydrated? Does he drink from his bath?
I am not sure about the UV lights, hopefully someone will post about it soon.
I know some of the meds/antibiotics/wormers can really bottom a dragon out. What meds did the vet give you? What doses?
let us know how it's going

I couldnt tell you the exacts of the meds he got. but it was a deworming medicine that he made the beardie drink. He doesnt usually drink from his bath water even though he soaks in it for an hour each time.

I'm hoping that was a typo in your first post and there is a Reptisun 10.0 above his tank. Other than that, since he's so young, you could try to get the basking area a bit warmer. From my understanding young dragons like it closer to 100-110*F in the basking area. Also, people will probably ask you how old your UVB is and how close the beardie can get to it. Also, how long have you had your beardie? Is this a new behaviour compared to normal? These are just a few questions I would ask. I'm floating around this forum to learn everything I can as we are considering a beardie rescue as soon as our viv is complete.

If you could clarify on the Repti-Sun that would help, is it the 10.0 bulb? Also, is it a strip fluorescent or coil/compact bulb? What's the distance to him when in the basking spot?

A basking temp of 95 is low for such a young beardie, it should be closer to 105 to 110. What type of thermometer are you using to check the temps? What is the cool side temp and what size tank do you have? Do you happen to know the wattage of the basking bulb?

For a 4 mo old beardie, you should be dusting with calcium 5 days a wk, but only 1 feeding a day and with vitamins the other 2 days a wk, but only 1 feeding a day.

Please answer the questions so we can try to help further.

Yes it is a 10.0 and is a fluorescent strip at about 12inches from the tank floor and 8inches from the peak of his basking log. Its also only 2months old got it the day before i picked the beardie up

I'm using a standard thermometer "like you use when your a kid and sick and the floor temperature is 95-100 now. The tank size is a standard 20gallon terrarium and the basking bulb is a 75 watt.

I wanted to point out today he perked up quite a bit,was very active and had a much better appetite. He pooped this morning and it appeared to be somewhat dry compared to his usual poops So i gave him a nice bath and put a couple tiny bits of water melon in with his collard greens today that he ate most of. He ate nearly 2dozen dusted small crickets and a few silkworms.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
