Leo's Eye Problem?

Well, given that this site may be the closest to a vet I can afford for awhile, I wanted to see everyone's opinion on my Leopard Gecko, Setbastian's, eye. He seems to favor it- preferring that it be closed, and licking it frequently when it's open. When it is open, there seems to be a almost cataracts looking piece on the side, picture below. Any idea what's going on there, and if there is anything I could do to help/resolve it?

I know it's a poor picture, but try to get the gist? The pale part in the corner is the unusual problem.

Are you using a UVB light, and if so is it a coil or compact?

No UVB light, just occasionally taking him out for a little bit of natural light for the benefits. Otherwise, being nocturnal, he isn't super fond of the light aside for extra warmth or when he really wants to explore during the day. Mainly, however, he just does what a nocturnal creature should do and sleeps all day. xD

So no UVB, no light-based eye issues.

Good news! I may never know what it was, but he was licking his eye today, and it came free (and he ate it). His eyes are both clear now, and he's a lot less aggravated!

Maybe it was just "eye boogers"? :lol: Glad he's feeling better!!
