Length of Lights On

So, I have been having my BDs lights on 14 hours and off 10... from 7am to 9pm is lights on. Recently she (or he) has been "going to bed" at about 8:00 or 8:30. Like right now it is 8:30 and she has herself all tucked into her hiding spot under her rock/cave. Should I start cutting down on the light time?

It's best to keep the lighting period at twelve hours. Well, twelve on and twelve off. Works for my dragon. I think your dragon is telling you to shorten the time  hehe. Hope this helps.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking!! It is hard to judge... it gets light here around 5:30am and isn't dark till 9pm so I know the outside light affects her/him too! I think I will change it by an hour and see how that goes :)

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
