Leaving mouth open

for about an hour now my bearded dragon has been siting there with his mouth open? he closes it for about a minuet or more then opens it he doesnt have any stress marks so he just leaves his mouth open i dont think it sore since he closes it and he ate some carrots just now he does this every now and then but i never thought much is it normal?

Never mind it means he likes the temp in his tank which is odd i have yet to get it 105 on basking spot its like 80 or 90 oh well ill get the him to the right temps soon as i get thermometer

Opening the mouth is how they regulate their temperature, similar to how we sweat.

Mine gets to lazy to move and gapes instead.
