Leaving for the night

I was just wondering how i would go about leaving my bearded at home alone??? I don't want to leave him alone with his heat lamp the whole time (12 noon till about 12 noon the next day 24 hours) Would it be safe to leave the heat on and his night bulb? Is there any other options????

Get a timer.
I got a nice one from Lowes...it has 4 timed outlets and the same number of un-timed outlets for around $25
You get a single outlet timer for less.
