Hi everyone!
I am a newbie here. I have a 6 or 7 month old beardie and I have to leave for four days over new years. My question is regarding feeding him. Here is my plan:
1.) The morning we leave, I will leave him a big bowl of salad + beardie pellets (he likes those) and a pile of freeze dried crickets (which I am actually not sure he will eat because I never tried feeding them to him, but he does eat dead crickets sometimes). But I am worried that he might eat it all in one sitting and overeat, is this possible? He eats A LOT and I never went to see how much he will actually eat beyond the 10-minute feeding period.
2.) The next two days I will get my mom to come in once a day to refill the above foods and maybe give him some fresh worms. Is it ok that he will be fed once a day instead of his usual two times a day?
3.) I will come back on the evening of the 4th day and feed him then.
Can you guys tell me some of your experiences where you had to leave your beardies for a few days? How did your beardies handle it? Thanks.
