Hi Everyone,
My BD is 2.5 months old now. So far her diet was only crickets which I gut-loaded and dusted. Now I have a Dubia colony going. She seems to like the baby dubias better than crickets, which is great. Lately, I've been thinking of starting a SW colony too just for some variety.
What would be ideal is 3/4 dubias and 1/4 supers. I am worried she will get addicted to the supers though and stop eating her dubias. I have heard supers are very addictive for them.
I thought I'd buy a small cup of supers when she gets a bit older and see what happens just to introduce her to them. Do you guys think I should even bother with it? Of course I won't even attempt this until she is around 6 mos old due to the risk of impaction, but I'd like to get as much info as I can ahead of time.
If supers are a bad idea for some variety, is there something else I should try? I wanted to try phoenix worms but I can't find a place to get them.
