LB has escaped???!?!?

About three weeks ago we bought our LB a new home! It is fantastic, a 4.5 ft long, 3 ft deep, 2.5? ft high custom wood enclosure. It has a removable glass front, three lights (heat, regular, and uv) a few climbing branches and a log to hide under. Also two screened in "doors " at the top!

We had some wood pieces on top so the cats don't crash thru the screen. Left today to enjoy mother's day with family and come home, LB is gone! He's about ten inches long right now and there was only one place we think he would have fit. There is a small hole in the screen at a place where its 2 ft off he ground. We can't find him. Locked cats in basement and opened front of enclosure in hopes he heads for his heat lamp. The good news is there is no sign the cats got to him we think but we are baffled how he escaped!

Oh and remember to look up when you search for him, not just on or around the ground! They can climb like crazy!!

Hes on the log in the picture! And the only hole is right above it crazy dragon! We don't know if hes on the main floor or second floor of the house either and if he was chased by the cats he could be anywhere...

Is that a wire next to him sorta, going up to the top of the tank where you say the hole is? My little guys can climb right up wires lol My babies can also climb straight up the walls of their wooden enclosure
Also, is the front of it plexi-glass? How do you keep it closed/locked?

No wires inside, the line is wood grain and the front is a piece of coffee table glass held in place by the grooves in the wood sides and a hinged lid with wood blocks on top. I'm considering renaming him houdini!

Yesterday he was belly against the wall but back feet on ground. I'm just hoping he doesn't join me in my sleep and freak me out lol

She was with us all day lol hubby walks in to visit him and he's gone! (No sign of a struggle lol so kidnapping is ruled out)

hahahaha that's too funny, and strange!! Are you sure you searched the ENTIRE enclosure and all the furniture? I'm sure you probably have like 9 times...lol

How long have you been searching now? I'd start with every corner in every room, check under all furniture or covered areas...maybe somewhere warmer like by an appliance or something? Sorry not much help...lol
