My juvi is almost 8 months old, 19 inches snl, and I am wondering why he never seems that active. Even when I let him out of his cage it takes him a while to start exploring the room and he only runs on occasion. Even when I put his dubias in his cage to eat at 5-6pm, he stares at them, waits for me to leave and THEN eats. He always has a white belly and seems relaxed but I can't understand why he doesen't run around EVER??

That seems to be a general concern for many of us! Other posts discuss laziness, and no one yet has given an explanation... other than our dragons being lazy!

I am in the same situation as you, 10 month old female, waits for roaches to come right below her mouth to eat them... but completely white belly! She looks like a princess waiting to be taken care of. I guess she knows about the beardie-slave relationship better than myself!

I don't know about you, but my beardie went from being hyperactive in february-march (attibuted to spring fever) to couch potato in April...

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
