So I'm pretty sure my beardie is laying eggs. I woke up this morning to one egg in the enclosure. I wasn't even positive she was female until this morning when I saw the egg lol. I got a lot of mixed "shes female" "he's male" and I kept leaning towards female but still wasnt sure. This proves it though! lol
I read somewhere that they can lay eggs due to too much calcium, but also I just hear some females just lay eggs. I have had her for over 5 years now and never seen this happen. Her behavior lately with glass dancing does match the description of a gravid female, but I thought she was only doing that cause she saw her reflection.
Anyways what do I do? Do I need to make a lay box for her? She will lay more right? I hear they lay in clutches.
