Lathargic Beardie Please Help

Me and my girlfriend both have bearded dragons. Both are about 6 months old. Recently we discovered the importance of UVB and she bought a Reptisun 10.0 for her beardie (we have them housed separately each at one of our houses.) We got the light about a week ago and she seemed to calm down within a day. No running or jumping when we held her and absolutely no biting or opening of the mouth. Just today when we came home i noticed that she hasn't moved from the same place on her log under the heat light and uvb lamp in a day with her legs spread out and far as they can go and her eyes closed. When i picked her up she was very lethargic and never opened her eyes. It almost looked as if she was having trouble opening them. I don't know if this has anything to do with the light but i just noticed this happening since we got it. She hasn't eaten crickets or mealworms since monday (cause our pet store is ran out and today is their shipment) so we made sure to give her greens (kale only). She has plenty of water and is usually active and alert. Please help if you have any ideas of what could be wrong.

Thank you

Hello,

Did you purchase the Reptisun 10 compact/coil light? If so, you purchased the wrong model. The Reptisun 10 flourescent tube bulb is the one to get.
What type of basking light are you using, & is it placed directly beside the UVB light? Can you show a picture of your setup?
Based on your description I assume you most likely bought the compact/coil light. If you have that in your tank, please turn that light off & just leave the basking light on right now. It is an extremely hazardous light & emits very low wavelength of UVB. How close is it to her?

We are using a repti basking spot lamp 50 watts. The tank is a 30 long so it is about a foot between the screen and Lakota (my beardie) The light is placed right next to the light. Yea i think we got the coil light too, it isn't the straight one that's like in regular lights, it is three "u"'s forming a bulb that you screw in. I am a little dumb when it comes ot computers i i couldn't figure out how to put up pictures if you could tell me wher ei could find out i have some that i could show you.

Thank you sooooooo much!!!!

Hello,

The basking light is fine, but if you have a coil or compact type of light for the UVB by Reptisun please do turn it off ok? They are VERY hazardous. Thanks.
How is he doing today?
Here is a thread to help with posting pictures, it is very easy.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
