Kookie - Wild Child (Pictures)

Kookie's growing like a weed now. I do have a question about his behavior though. He's not afraid when I take him out of his cage but once he's out he's just wild. He seems to just want to run and jump. There's no possible way I could ever set him down. I can barely hold onto him. Occasionally he'll ride around in my hand and just look around and check things out but eventually he starts trying to jump down. If I put him down for one second, he's off and running like a speeding bullet. Is this just because he's still a baby and he's wild and crazy? Will he eventually settle down or am I doing something wrong?

What a beautiful dragon!!!! I don't think you are doing anything wrong. Babies tend to be hyper like that and I used to have the same problem with my Kwayze when she was that young. Now that she's 9 months, she has settled down in her old age lol.

He's probably just a hyper little guy. I bet he really enjoys being able to roam. You could try handling him at night when his viv has cooled down and he is tired/cold. They are usually much calmer when their body heat is down.
