Kio's Big Suprise

"Best Present EVER!"
Christmas 2011 [25/12/11]
I sat down on the light brown rug staring at the terrarium that sat infront of my brother.
"Is there anything in it," breathed Emma.
"I dunno," replied Shane staring intently at the cage.
"Here let me see," I said reaching out my hand to open the lid.I pressed two tabs and slid the lid out. Inside of the terrarium was a rock and food & water dishes. Slowly I lifted up the rock and it revealed a baby ball python. I carefully picked him up and handed him to my brother.
"Bubba,"he whispered excitedly. Sad, I scooted away from the cage and held my tears. My brother and I hade both asked for reptiles (a ball python for him and a Beardie for me).
"Breakfast," my mom called from the kitchen. Quietly I followed my brother and his snake into the kitchen. We ate a meal of eggs, mini donuts, bacon, and sausage ( a christmas special). After we ate my mom disappeared as we were cleaning up. Then I was the only one in the room washing the table silently. My mom appears carrying a chair. Then I noticed the small figure of a lizard on her shoulder.
"OH MY GOSH!!" I screamed excitedly and didn't hesitate to pick him off my moms shoulder,
"Kio." I said looking deep into his orange eyes.

Today was a SCORE!!! For some weird reason Kio doesn’t eat things that don’t move. So he hasn’t digested a lot of greens. Well, today I wiggled around some greens and HE ATE THEM! BOOYEAH!! Score one for me!! Alright here are some pictures.

I love the story! Your mom is a real cool lady and knows you very well. You got a fine lookin' beardie there! I like how you got him to eat his greens! Make it wiggle so they get curious. If you can find the list of plants they can eat on the forum, try some different things everyday to see what they will go for. I gave Chester his first taste of pansy petals just yesterday and he ate them all. He also likes some mint and today was his first try for oregano and he ate that too! I think he even tried the thyme. If you can get some fragrant, colorful additions to their veggies they might just surprise you! Looking forward to more updates about Kio

So I thought that Kio was a boy and today (As a big a surprise to me) is a girl! And I think she might be pregnant (unfertile of course). So Syri will (if it is he) be Neo! If it is another girl she will be named Syri.
If you want to know how I found out that he was a she just ask.(I didn't think people would want to know)
