We just rescued a neglected Red Eared Slider Turtle wich was being kept in a 20gal disgusting filthy tank, which is way too small! So we got him a bigger tank wich is now show cased in my kitchen (thank goodness we took that wall out! haha)
Anyway the kids wanted a couple goldfish to put in the 20 gal tank...so I oblidged alond with some pond snails to breed for turtle snacks...They have had it in their room for a few days now. And I've started wondering...Will this raise the humidity in the room too much for the dragon? I am not really sure whats too high for humidity. Could someone pleae advise. I am not sure what it is rightnow as my thermometer with the humidity reading needs new batteries so I will get those tomorrow and check.
Right now my little OZ man is brumating...wants to sleep all day and will not eat...same thing he did last year...*note* he started this before the tank came in...he has been in his grumpy sleeping mode for 3weeks now.
Thanks
