Keeping crickets alive for a week

I'm wondering if it's okay to keep about a week's supply of crickets in a plastic cricket keeper out in the garage. I'm in Southern California, and in the winter my closed garage gets down in the 50s at night. Will the crix survive for a week in these conditions? I'm not really interested in breeding crickets and don't want them in an aquarium inside the house.

Thanks.

When you get into the 50 deg territory is when it starts getting iffy with crickets. Mid to high 50s and they should be ok, but lower 50s and you will probably see a huge mortality rate. There will be an increased mortality rate even in the upper 50s, but not as bad if it is only during the nighttime. My suggestion would be to get a Reptile Under Tank heat pad or a human heat pad without the autoshutoff and place it under the cricket bin during the night. This should give them those extra few degrees they need to keep them away from that higher die off threshold.

We just keep the cricket keeper on a shelf under the beardie's cage. I buy 4-doz crickets at a time, which lasts 2 days or so. I have the orange cricket feeder, as well as the yellow stuff. Works fine, and I'm only losing 4-5 crickets per batch.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
