Keeping Beardie Calm in Enclosure

I have no idea if I'm in the right subforum for this...

My beardie had to have a partial tail amputation due to scoliosis cutting off blood flow to the end of her tail. She is now meant to be on cage rest for 7-10 days, and I've had to remove all of her climbing logs from her cage.

She's been back from the hospital for about 5 hours, and she already seems bored in her enclosure. She's glass surfing and climbing on the doors, and I'm worried that she may rip her stitches out or injure herself.

Anyone have any advice on how to keep her safely entertained, or maybe just calm her down a little bit?

Putting down some fleece may help cushion her enclosure a bit. If she is glass surfing a lot then maybe brining her out to a safe area and letting her roam around a bit would help. It's a good sign that she is energetic, but as you said, you don't want her to strain or hurt herself. As long as her tail is protected and kept clean then it should heal over even if she is moving around a lot, as long as it doesn't get caught up on anything.
