Hi all,
so I came home from work today expecting to see my baby basking like usual, instead I couldn't find him anywhere!
I freaked out and tore through all the decorations to find him. This is what it normally looks like (without the paper towels though and I moved the temp gauge).
I ended up finding him stuck in between the small hide log and the glass ?
I keep it there for stability just in case the suction cups failed. In the picture there's a napkin covering it but I haven't had it covering for awhile now because the ramp covers most of the hole! There's hardly any space! II'm so worried now and I'm so frustrated with myself! I should've known better! I lifted the log off and he looked so uncomfortably squished
I'm worried that he's been in that position for a long time
Fortunately today was my half day at work (4 hours) but still! Even 5 minutes in that position would be painful!
I'm freaking out but he seems to be normal. I know his arms are ok for sure. He jumped when my brother came home and his legs seem ok. he does seem more skittish though which I hope that's it. I had him on my bed and He runs normal. He didnt have stress marks though when I rescued him which surprised me. Once my brother came home though, his marks got really dark. I'm really freaking out about this whole thing. I feel so terrible about it and so can you please let me know if you guys see any visible injuries he may have! These aren't the best pictures, I'll try and take more.
Also, I know he's dehydrated. I've been giving him baths at least once a day for about a week now. He won't drink from anything and hates the veggies I serve. Im trying to find other ways to hydrate him but so far baths are the only option and they don't seem to be doing much ????
*update*
Forgot to mention that he's 5 months almost 6. I just gave him another bath to loosen up his muscles.
He's walking around my bed like normal and hiding in blankies and coming out and repeating. Stress marks are gone now that he's used to my brother again. He still seems a little skittish.
