Juvenille has undigested food in poop

Hi everyone,

My beardie is ~14.25 inches and 6-7 months old. I believe she is female. She eats pretty much anything you put in front of her. She is very active and social. She poops very regularly, once every 3 days. Lately I've noticed that there is occasionally some undigested food (worms, veggies, crickets, etc.) in her poop. Is this anything I should be concerned about?

Hello, What are the basking temps and how are you taking them? What kind of UVB are you using tube or coil? Where is it in the tank or on top of screen--- ? The lighting in the tank and temps are crucial for over all health

Hey thanks Karrie, I just checked and it looks like the fall weather has lowered her basking temps to only 95. I raised her hammock a little higher and it is reading 105 now. We'll see if that makes a difference!

What does her typical diet consist of?

The hotter temps should help.
Remember, 1 off poos aren't really something to get concerned with. Take them as little reminders to verify everything in your setup is OK. Such as a reminder to check your temps

For bugs she gets: mealworms, crickets, waxworms, butterworms
For veg she gets: bok choy, kale, carrot, bell peppers, spring mix, and the rare fruit

I try to cycle through so that there are 2 bugs and 2 veg available each week

Sounds decent. The more variety the better

Mealworms can be a bit tough to digest sometimes. So sometimes they will pass partially undigested (at least the outer shell) but its typically nothing to worry about as long as the rest of your setup is fine
