juvenile dragon wont eat crickets but will eat superworms

i dont have an inferred thermometer yet. i have a thermometer right near his basking spot also right on top. it says 90 durning the day.

this is the bulb i was given.

that is no good -- he needs the long tube for best health --- please invest in the temp gun -- it will give better temps for you - it needs to be pointed inside the tank approx 2"-4 " from basking area--

alright i will be going to the store tomorrow. Is there any more advice i should know. i do have calcium powder for him and a water dish. I'm not sure if he is getting the proper water but have put him in front of it and he has drank from it. I do have leafy greens for him(not lettuce) he eats some when i put it in front of him.

That's good-- when did he go to the bathroom last? You can always rinse his greens off and serve them wet- he will get water that way too hiccup does not drink from a dish - he gets his water thru his greens- if he is pooping out water he's not dehydrated- his pee should be white too- hiccup has 3 types- white urate
brown poo and watery. You want to start dusting his bugs w/ vitamins ad well 2 x per week bugs 5 x per week calcium d3 powder

Depending on the bulb you get either the T8 or T 5 and your screen is gonna depend on where it goes -- if you have fine mesh it needs to go inside the tank - if you have bigger holes in the screen it could go on top-- T 8 is not as strong as the T 5 bulb -- please let me know what you get---
