JUST TOOK OSKER TO THE VET....DID SHE DO RIGHT??

or should i say osk-her......turns out hes a girl...and boy she did not love the vet.....her beard was puffed out the whole time

anyways i took in some poo for a fecal and they found no coccidia but did find hookworms and pinworms....she gave her .1cc of panicure followed by 2ccs of water and told me to do the same once a week for the next 3 weeks and then they wanna do another fecal

being that most of you on here seem to know more than anyone on these matters i wanted to check and see if this sounds about right to you

as for her being a her...its pretty funny....when we bought her the pet store told us she was a male, told us to get calcium sand,told us to keep his basking temp at 90, told us the wrong lights to buy, and told us to feed him (her) 5 crix twice a day.....they were wrong on everything......i could care less about what sex she is but the rest pissed me off as i had to respend all the money again to get things right

oh yeah....she said i should cut the tips off her talons too...seems like a bad idea, has anyone heard of this??

OH....AND ONE MORE THING....HOW DO THEY GET PIN AND HOOKWORMS?? IT WOULD BE NICE TO KEEP IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN
