Just purchased a colony "Video"

Well I took the plunge I bought a Dubia Colony. 10 prego Females 2 males and 500 cousins to start feeding them right away while the new ones come along. I got it at CnS Feeders http://cnsfeeders.webs.com/ I'll report back after they arrive.

Just ordered my water crystals off ebay a 1lb bag for 10.00. I'll try to go the free route on egg flats from the bakery and grocery's around town I heard Dennys is a good place.

This weekend I will be Bin Shopping.

You can just get a dark colored bin at Walmart for less than $10. You can also use a human heating pad, just be sure you get one that doesn't have automatic shut-off. I use a Sunbeam brand that I got on Amazon.com. I make my own "chow", and you can get plain, clear water crystals really cheap at places like Lowes in the plant section.

Dubia are super easy to raise and keep your feeding costs low. I have 2 beardies, 1 is a juvenile, and they love them. My colony has definitely paid for itself!

So I got my order today. They look good I only saw a couple dead real small ones. They were packed good and in a nice container. These came from CNSfeeders. I got the breeding starter kit plus 500 mixed.
