Just got my Bearded Dragon 2 weeks ago/Help?

Hello everybody i bought Peter (Name could change because i believe it is a female but could be too young to tell) from petsmart about 2 weeks ago So i have absolutely no details on him, He is about 6-7 inches. So i bought the basics that day (went from a 10 gallon tank to a 50 i got for free in a day as well lol) His behavior is pretty normal in my opinion (and research i have done) He likes to sit in his hammock all day and sit under the heat lamp and move to the tree every now and again. the temp is usually at 100 degrees, in the dual lamp is the basking light and the uvb fluorescent light. he likes to sleep either on the hammock, or the branch on the cool side (and sometimes the small cave if i place him in front of it) and has shed once already.

After work I usually feed him crickets occasionally with calcium powder and also some fruits (he isn't too big on them) and I usually leave "zoo med natural bearded dragon food" in his bowl. And the help is more along the lines of what type he is, seeing pet smart gave me no info

He looks like a normal dragon, will probably be a sandy color as a adult but its possible he could develop color as he grows.

He should be getting feed crickets 2-3 times a day, as many as he can eat in 15 minutes. The bearded dragon pellets really aren't a very good staple and they should be soaked in water to soften them before feeding. Babies have became impacted from eating them dry. Fruit is a 1-2 times a week treat, leave greens in his dish at all times.

The coil type UVB bulbs can cause eye damage, it recommended to replace them with a tube type. Reptisun 10 are a very good bulb, you can get them at petmountain.com for a good price.

Hi there...Peter is a cutie. I agree with Gail's recommendations, the tube Reptisun 10.0 bulb is the best UVB in the long run. Your dragon may be a leatherback, can you post one more pic a bit more of a close up of his back ?

yes i believe it is a leatherback (after doing more research lol) Could you possibly tell what morph as well?

Leatherback is a morph. If he has clear nails with no little grey/black line in the middle then he would also be a hypo.

Yes I have a thermometer it's on the left side of the tank, got cut off in the pic lol,
