Just got back from the vet

Turns out to be just what I though. Zeus has a respiratory infection ):
They have me giving him .9 mL of Baytril twice a day (he's only about 390 grams, due to having worms before and just getting over them not too long ago) and suggested mixing it with apple juice/sauce so it won't be as bitter and he doesn't freak out as bad. The vet was really nice. He actually talked to me and played with Zeus instead of just diagnosing him and billing me. Zeus kept running across the exam table to him and licking his nose and pen, it was cute. He asked me if he could take a picture with him to put up in the office! Oh and the friend that came with me has a sick leo, she has worms, and he gave him Panacur for him for free! I'm just praying that the Baytril helps. I hate seeing my little boy sick ):

Well I just gave Zeus his third dose of the Baytril. This morning I woke up and gave it to him. He FLIPPED OUT. Started thrashing his head around and tried to run away. Then just a few minutes ago I gave him another dose. As soon as he saw the syringe, he tried to run away and hide. I feel so bad. He hates me right now. But I rather him be mad than sick. I haven't heard the popping as much today. Maybe it's working already? I'm not sure how long it really takes.

I probably won't be on here much for the next few weeks. I have a Pilonidal Cyst and it's become extremely painful, so I was just put on Ultram (Tramadol) and I'm pretty groggy and sluggish. Then I have surgery next Friday. But after I start feeling better, I'll be able to update you all on Zeus.
