Just bought the Repitsun 10.0 - 2 Questions

I'm just wondering how close should I allow my baby bearded dragon to get to it?
Should I lower his basking spot a little so he only can get about 6 inches away from it?
How close is too close?

Also, Is it bad if my Reptisun 10.0 is just as long as the entire tank?

Its not bad thats it just as long as the tank. And generally you want there basking spot to be with 6-8" of the light. So when they are basking (which they do alot) they will be soaking up that UVB also.

You do want to install the UVB inside the tank, with no screen or plastic cover blocking the UVB from getting to your beardie.
