I saw an ad on craigslist.org in nyc for a female unknown age nice color morph for a $100. he had her in a sand substrate she looked fine in the picture, when we met in the subway I pick her up to examined her i could tell that she was sick, her color was bright but her bones were soft, as i lifted her up she couldnt balance herself... her tail dropped, she has a bump on her upperleft that looks like a form of fungus,(also looks like retaining shed) her back legs look swollen.... she drags when she walks, im goin to upload a video, she is beautiful and now is eating well, having daily baths, looks better than she did when i first got her....the guy said she was 2 yrs old at 19 inches and very slim,to me she looks older just by lookin at her nails and her side spikes she looks much more mature.... maybe 3-4 yrs old comparing to my 1yr old 21 inches long robust body male......shame on him....Ahole!!!

She's really pretty and not nearly as bad looking as I though she would be after reading your description. Make sure she gets plenty of calcium and once she has gained a bit more strength, start exercising her in the water.
Her back legs don't look swollen to me, I think they just look odd because her back end is so skinny. I'm not sure what to make of the spot on her side, is there a bump under her skin at all? I'd try rubbing some olive oil on it and see if its just retained shed.
If she doesn't show improvement with her balance or muscle strength in the next couple weeks, a vet visit would be a good idea.

I agree with what gail posted your dragon needs some help but is not near as bad as some that i have seen. The spot on her looks like 1 of 2 things. Either retained shed or a scar. Does not appear to be a fungus at all though. She needs to get some fat storage on her and as was already stated up her calcium intake. You should look into purchasing a good MVB like a trex as the heightened uv output will help her process the calcium faster.

Hello,

She definitely looks like she needs some weight on her. What UVB are you planning on using for her? A mercury vapor bulb would be the best, either a Megaray or a T-rex active UV heat.
I would start her out on liquid calcium for awhile just to get her levels up. The silkworm enzyme would benefit her if she seems to have any pain or swelling due to metabolic bone disease.
I would start her out slowly on protein as well, until her stools are normal & you are sure that her kidneys are functioning optimally. You can give her extra oral fluids, along with a greens slurry.
How is she doing overall, is she basking normally?
That raised area doesn't appear to be fungus though but a scar from a possible burn in the past. Have you given her a bath yet?

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
