Just ate his own skin!

So, like my title says, my 3 month old beardie i just got yesterday began shedding. and he shed a pretty large piece off his chin. and then he was running around, rubbing against stuff. and the piece fell off. and he ate it. should i be concerned? because i am.

I have heard of this before. He should be okay. Just try to remove the pieces before he eats them if you can.

I'm a new beardie mom and my beardie is a year and three months and he started to do this and a decent size piece came off his chin and he ate it. I think I almost died.........
