Just a check up

My bearded dragon is about 5 months old now and about 8 inches, maybe a little more. He eats about 30 crickets a day, 4 wax worms, and maybe 3 Phoenix worms. He eats a little greens each day too. I calcium dust the wax worms and usually crickets, and multi-vitamin on weekends. He has a repti-sun 10 linear bulb, a 100 watt household bulb, and a heat emitter. He can get very close to repti-sun, and has only shed once since I got him in September. It looks like he is coming onto another shed now. He poops daily and seems very healthy, but I just want to check up since I hear about beardies at 5 months that are a foot long. So is he doing ok?

Sounds ok to me.. he doesn't eat quite as healthily as some other dragons here, but everything else sounds fine. I would back off on the wax worms, and encourage the phoenix worms to replace them. The wax worms are like having a big slice of cake, per worm! He's a bit small, but it doesn't sound like something to be concerned about. What are his temps and how do you measure them? My little girls isn't much bigger.

about 105 basking maybe more and about 85 cool side. Using a thermometer with a probe attached.

Sounds good, then. You might bump the temps a little bit, but other than that.. everything sounds fine to me. My beardie is about the same age, and if she's a foot long, she's stretching Also, you can't always be sure of the age, some babies are sold when they are teeny tiny.
