Jumping Off of Basking Spot At Glass?

My Beardie Lazarus has been jumping off of his basking spot at the glass and falling to the bottom of the cage, over and over again throughout the day. At first we thought it was the chords behind the glass, But we covered up the back of the cage with something, but that made the reflections more noticeable and he continues to jump. Someone please give some advice, I'm worried he's going to hurt himself

My bearded dragon does this often. What I usually do is take it as a sign that he wants to come out and explore a bit. If you can let him out for a little bit, it may help with some of the energy he might have built up. If it really is a reflection issue (which is occasionally the case), you should look for something to cover the sides of the tank that do not emphasize the reflection. During the times that my bearded dragon gets restless/jumps at his reflection and I cannot take him out (he seems to get really fidgety right after he's eaten, and I need him to stay put, bask, and digest...), I cover up the sides of the terrarium with whatever I can get my hands on: papers, textbooks, etc. It usually stops him.

You can get aquarium backing and tape it to the inside of the tank, maybe that will cut down on the reflection.

yeah, i have all sides exept the front covered on my viv and my guy still does it sometimes, as others have said, i usually take him out and let him run around when he does that
