Jumped off my couch, chair, and bed?

First, I would like to say that on all of these occasions Gamma has been fine and secondly that I tried to prevent it. She is just so fast and unpredictable! Gamma is about 11 inches or so and very healthy. I just have noticed she doesn't seem as cuddly? I've not had her quite a month yet, so it wouldn't surprise me if she's still getting used to me. After all, she really hasn't been here that long. Occasionally she'll run around like crazy and then fall asleep. If I try hard enough I can get her to calm down and fall asleep on me. Usually though she is very curious (which I find very cute but also worrisome). I don't want her getting hurt.

Should I just let her explore everywhere (under supervision of course) and then that will help? Or is this rather normal and I should just let it be? Perhaps it is just not her personality to be as cuddly?

She is absolutely wonderful and beautiful. I want to make sure she is safe. Preferably without nets everywhere but if I have to...well I would.

Again, she seems fine. I didn't realize she would jump. My tortoise never jumps off heights that could be dangerous. When he jumps off the couch I always have had a pillow on the floor to catch him. He is fine going down steps as well (as long as they're not too high). Do dragons not have a concept of heights?

My guy does the same "leap of faith" every time i put him on the sofa, table, bed and people. He does it off his platform in his viv even though he has a log to walk down. I figure he just likes to jump. I try to stop him jumping off anything too high and check he's still moving alright afterwards. He's a stubborn little so and so and gets very annoyed when i interrupt his 'missions' to check he's okay. I let him explore for exercising his muscles, but bring him back to me when he strays too far or if he's getting into trouble.

Emile is about 11 inches as well, and he's not very snuggly, either. He'd rather be crawling up the curtains or trying to find dog hair to eat on the floor. I always have to vacuum thoroughly before I get him out, because he's always trying to pick hairs out of the carpet for some strange reason. Anyways, when there are no hairs to eat, he just runs around and tends to get pretty agitated if I stop him to pet him, or to check him over. :p

ahahaha so cute! Maybe at night there is more cuddle time? That's so funny about the curtains and dog hair. I know Gamma is sleepy when she starts digging lolz

yeah....

Mr Dargon will "fall" off the couch. i have to watch him as he runs around. i have an ottoman under my computer desk and i'll sit at the chair with my feet on it and he'll run up and down my legs, climb all over the ottoman, climb onto the desk, up to my shoulder, etc.
he seems to think that he can leap great distances. i've watched him try to jump from my lap to the desk from about a foot away. he missed and landed back on my legs and seemed confused as to why it didn't work. lol

Tasty Treat (my little princess) falls gracefully. she hasn't belly flopped yet. she seems smart enough to slide down and keep her front legs out-stretched as she goes down.

if there is a place you don't want them to go don't be surprised if they try nonstop to get there.

Its like they just know exactly where they are not allowed and make a break for it at every given opportunity. In my living room there is the original boarded up built in fireplace. We have a gas fire in front of this, but there is a small hole behind it for piping, that leads in to the original fireplace. I've lived in this house for about 5 months and i've have had to help delicately extract several animals from inside the boarded up original fireplace including, but not limited to:

2 Ferrets (x 4 times)
1 Tortoise,
3 Hamsters,
1 Bearded dragon,
1 stuck Pigeon
and a corn snake.

You take your eyes of them for a fraction of a second...!

Oh my gosh lolz! My tortoise is the master of knowing where I don't want him to go. Gamma is not so bad (except for the jumping) ahahaha. I think reptiles have a thing for corners, and dark holes. I don't know what it is.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
