Salutations. My name is Jub Jub, I am 1 year old and im a yellow Beardie from the motherland, Australia.

My humans are Fiona and Mitch. They've never had a grand creature like myself. But they're doing their best.

My Likes are: Crickets, and Being wrapped in a towel.
My Dislikes are: Baths and being tickled.

My favourite place to be is on my mums belly. It warm (and squishy).

Awesome dragon, I have a dragon who is comfortable sitting close to how yours does, not every dragon is willing for these positions. It is however harmful to them to be directly on their backs so please notice how the dragon is not laying on it's back but rather a leaning position.
Love the personality there complete trust and comfort with a human, this is one of the best bearded dragon traits that separates them from most of their lizard counterparts. :wink:

Beardies do not have diaphragms and cannot breathe on their backs.

No no, I don't see any pictures of your dragon laying on it's back, like I said I have a dragon that will sit like this too. But, he never will go on his back. I may be wrong but, I don't think a dragon will just lay there and die lol, if it was uncomfortable to your dragon I am sure he would struggle to get situated the way he wants to be.

I meant no harm in my initial post btw. You have a very trusting dragon, that's awesome.

Honestly I'm just glad for the advice! Any tips or trivia available, I want to soak them all in. He's my first reptile and I've only had him 6 months. I'm a noob and I'm here to learn

Exactly yeah. I've been lurking for 6 months and decided to finally join. I used all the great info when I thought he had mites. As far as I can tell he's happy and healthy, were going to take him to a vet who specializes in reptiles soon to get him checked out.

Jub Jub is awesome! I think it's so cool you have such a trusting bond with him. Bearded dragons are the best, my male was my first introduction in to the reptile world, and I am now addicted to beardies. I'm about to adopt my third dragon! I love learning about them, and like you say just soaking up all the knowledge. Please keep posting pics of Jub Jub, he's so cool!
