Jeez...Now I feel bad...

I just put my little Wolfgang back in his viv for the night after spening a good thirty minutes of enjoying him snuggled up asleep on my shoulder. I did what I always do...Walk in as gently as I could, turned off the heat light so he wouldn't be too disturbed (I leave it on during our cuddle time so the basking tree/rock stays warm for him. I know it's not necessary, but...I wanna make sure he doesn't go from a nice warm shoulder to a cold place to sleep. I know I wouldn't want that xD). So I place him gently on his basking tree and see that he doesn't wake up. He usually wakes up the second I remove him from my shirt, but he's done this before so I didn't panic like last time.

I close the screen and look to see if he woke up yet...And he hadn't. Okay, no problem. But I stayed to see him take in at least one breath just to be sure. My room is pretty dark (for his comfort) at this time of night and I only had the dim light of my TV to go on (Was hoping for a nice bright scene on the screen xD ) But after a while I didn't quite see any movement at all, and not seeing him properly wasn't helping...And reluctently reached up to turn on my bedroom light. The second I turned my eyes back to him, he's wide awake and doesn't seem very happy with me at all.

Well...I guess I just woke him from what appeared to be a very nice sleep. (Sorry, Wolfgang xD ) But you make me worry a lot. It's your own fault.

Yeah, I always feel bad when I have to wake up Naughtica when she falls asleep during our cuddles. I don't try to wake her up, but I lift her up and wrap her in her burrito and lay her in her tank. When I lift her up and she wakes, she grabs onto my hand so tight lol! I consider it the goodnight hug from her :love5:

In fact, just last night I put Razzle in his viv, all covered up...he always goes to sleep on someones' shoulder/chest and is put in his viv when sound asleep...

So last night I did not check him very well before laying him down

I came by the viv about 30 minutes later, and just his head was peeking out of his covers, nose nearly touching the glass, with SUCH a sad, pathetic, did I mention sad? look on his face.........what??? Why am I here in bed awake? Why did you do this to me??? What have I ever done wrong? Why did you do this to me?? You laid me down before I was sound asleep.......*sigh*sigh*sigh*. Things will never be the same. My world is ruined.

*So I just left him there to figure it out.


YEA, RIGHT! :mrgreen: He got his cuddles, was properly asleep, but I think he is planning pay-back :shock:

I checked on him shortly after I posted, and he was sound asleep. I'm pretty sure his thoughts were: "Meh. Too tired. I'll get you in the morning."

@Beardednoob: Nice to see I'm not alone xD Well, I knew I wasn't...It just makes me feel better and not like I'm being incredibly mean to a baby who's just trying to sleep, lol.

@claudiusx: Awww!! I think Wolfgang is a little too tired when it's time to go back in his viv to think about holding on. Poor baby always looks so confused, and I know how that is. But he always goes back to sleep without a fight.

@Sherri: LOL. I'd don't think I'd be able to do that xD Watch out for that payback!

I find it so cute how they curl up almost anywhere to sleep and i always get my camera for bed time and such...but with it being dark and all i need to use flash. Gorbash doesn't like this...he opens his eyes as if to say 'Mam...Turn. It. Off.' and i actually always say 'You are just too adorable when you sleep! I can't resist' -head stroke' C:

@KcloveAmi: I don't think it's stupid at all :wink: I do the same, even during the day.

@Sparktail: I would do that...If my iPod had a flash. So I can't get good pics of him sleeping unless I want to take the chance of waking him up by turning on the light. Wolfgang is very, very lucky.
