Jax ate a big black ant !

I had my baby boy Jax outside today getting some real uvb and a big black ant crawled onto our blankie. I tried to flick it away but before I could Jax pounced on it and ate it. Should I be worried ? He and Bella are my babies and I dont want anything to harm them........

Watch for anything obviously unusual for him. I say obviously because, watching him closer you may tend to see things you never noticed before, we all do it. Watch for things like, rapid or stressed breathing, spasms, lethargy, odd color changes, overly drooping eyes etc...

Yes it was a carpenter ant. Man can he be super quick when he wants to be..... :lol:

this is so weird. i took my beardie with me on a hike today, and while i was resting on a bench he scooped up a carpenter ant. of course i freaked out. we were hiking on a small mountain, so i'm hoping these ants weren't exposed to pesticides, but i have no way of knowing for sure.
