Hey guys, I recently just bought a very large Java wood. It's about 30" long, big and thick that I will be using it in a 40gal national geographic tank that has the front glass door opening. Question is, how do I clean the wood when my beardies poops on it? As of late, I have been using store nought porcelain that they can hide in or go to the top yo get warm. Thanks again..

Hi there....you can use a mix of hot water and red wine vinegar and scrub with a toothbrush if it's really dirty. Otherwise just spot clean with paper towels and the same RWV + water. The red wine vinegar is much stronger than bleach but non toxic.

Hi, thanks and happy New Years. Now, I have a mixture of 1-1 redline vinegar to water that I use to spray clean the tank. Is that the mixture that I should use on the Java wood? Thanks again..

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
