It's Upgrading time.

Hey all,

It's abotu that time to upgradu Mushu to his new cage. I either want to grab him a 55 gallon acquarium or a breeder tank. Actually lately I can't find either. Anyone have a suggestion besides craigslist to look for one. Also, I want to grab Mushu a new fixture and lighting system for his new cage. Anyone have a good suggestion for a good "bigger" fixture system?

It's about that time to upgrade Mushu to his new cage. I either want to grab him a 55 gallon aquarium or a breeder tank. Actually lately I can't find either. Fish tanks can also be found at local thrift shops for a fairly reasonable price, but the right size can be difficult to find. You can also place an ad in the wanted section by way newspaper/internet

As for the light fixture, finding that can be difficult if you happen to live in Canada. However, the states has a lot of cheap choices for lighting (Home Depot, Lowe's, Wal-Mart). I have finally found a fixture to use with my 75 gallon aquarium. It is a 48 inch dual shop light.

For all the Canadians out there, I just found a dual shop light sold at Canadian Tire for $39.99 which houses both T12 and T8 tubes, which is great for those Reptisuns that happen to be T10, and the other companies that sell T8's (ExoTerra).

I am using a Reptisun UVB 10.0 tube on one side and a regular fluorescent on the other side called GE Sunshine F40 full spectrum.

the dome fixture for the basking bulb you will have to get at the pet store but for the tube uv light you can get any tube florecent fixture at homedepo.
